3. It offers strong resistance to leaching, excellent long-term fungal decay resistance, and a 40-year durability warranty (subject to conditions).
4. Fully compatible with the Abodo Protector coating system, it is sustainably made from FSC® certified, rapidly renewable New Zealand plantation timber.
5. Vaaro can be lightly re-machined after treatment (up to 4mm, subject to conditions), and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.
6. Additional benefits include higher density and hardness, low dimensional movement, low metal corrosivity, and supply as a complete system from one manufacturer.
The Making of Vaaro Fire
Produced in New Zealand from Abodo’s signature heat-tempered, rapidly renewable timber, Vaaro is further enhanced through a specialised resin-based fire-retardant treatment.
This advanced resin system uses technology found in high-performance material applications, pressure-impregnated deep into the timber and then heat-cured to permanently stabilise and lock in performance.
Through this triple-modified process and extensive testing, Vaaro delivers confidence, consistency, and peace of mind for specification and design applications.
