A fresh take on a lakeside home, this renovation was inspired by the desire to give the existing 15-year-old exterior a new lease on life. Rather than a complete reclad, the homeowners chose a considered solution that layered new timber over the existing cladding, creating a clean, contemporary façade while complementing the home’s stonework and upper-level aluminium cladding.

Featuring @abodowood Vulcan Cladding in Nero, the vertical WB12 profile brings depth, texture, and strong architectural lines to the exterior. The dark finish creates a striking contrast against the surrounding materials, while the thermally modified timber offers durability and stability for this exposed lakeside location.
